President Barack Obama signed an executive order that creates a federal council to address “lifestyle behavior” modifications of Americans.
The order was signed on June 10, and could pave the way for more government say in how Americans lead their lives.
Obama charged the National Prevention, Health Promotion, and Public Health Council with writing a report by July 1 that “contains a list of national priorities on health promotion and disease prevention to address lifestyle behavior modification (including smoking cessation, proper nutrition, appropriate exercise, behavioral health, substance-use disorder, and domestic violence screenings) and the prevention measures for the five leading disease killers in the United States.”
Although Obama wrote that the executive order does not create any enforceable law, the newly-formed council is responsible for developing a “national prevention, health promotion, public health, and integrative health-care strategy that incorporates the most effective and achievable means of improving the health status of Americans.”
The council is to provide recommendations about how best to achieve this strategy to Congress and the White House.

So, the President has created a council to study possible ways of improving public health, and which explicitly does not create any new law, and this makes him comparable to Hitler...?

He says it is not enforceable by law, and there is some comfort in that, but not much considering what a lying turd he is. Aside from that, I don't need Hussein, Michelle, Nancy Lugosi or any of these mendacious loads of crap telling me how to live my life... whether or not I should smoke, how much exercise I need to get every day, what I should be eating and all that stuff. If I was a welfare bum like he would like me to be then maybe I could afford to buy more expensive cuts of meat, and organic veggies. As it is I cannot and have to settle for high-fat hamburger and the cheapest potatoes I can find.
BTW, did I mention that I'm disabled?

ReplyDeleteHi there, Impeach BHO. I hear ya' and I agree. He is walking in their shoes down that same road to tyranny and even employing many of the same tactics as Hitler did. This is the thing that liberals and progressives don't get and that is the striking similarity between modern liberalism and fascism. Check this out it's phenomenal what extent progressives will go to run you around in circles with their asshat 'logic'.
